Lay em Low Hang em HighKilled this large sow well after dark using Game Alert. Would normally have been out of blind but with Game Alert stayed a couple hours after dark. <br />Alert went off a couple of times when Axis Deer came by, finally several hogs showed up, very visable with barrel mounted light, dropped the largest one with one shot behind the right ear.
FinallyI set up on a ridge looking down on a protein feeder. I had placed a Game Alert Hog Hunting Light on the feeder prior to my climb up the ridge. It wasn't until about 10 pm that things got interesting. There was so much coon & rabbit activity that for about an hour the game alert looked like a disco ball on the feeder if my goal was to take coons or rabbits it would have been an early hunt! I set out all night it was 5a.m when a shooter finally walked out, seeing the game alert light activate I lit up the area and there he stood. FINALLY!!!
Game Alert smack downDropped 3 hogs within 30 mins. Using the Game Alert Stealth kit. Hunting a main Bulk feeder on the ranch, the hogs rolled in about 3a.m. There were 6 in the group after dropping the third one a thunderstorm rolled in never had the oppty. To see if the others would have returned. Went dark after each shot within 10 minutes or so the group would return. It was a great hunt.
